Point for Nature

Point for Nature provides information, training and advisory services for organizations and institutions that want to apply for European Funds for environmental protection and nature conservation activities in the financial perspective 2021-2027 from the following programmes:

  • European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment
  • Eastern Poland Programme/Funds for Eastern Poland
  • 16 European Funds Programmes for individual voivodships

Our goal is  to strengthen the institutional capacity of those planning to apply for co-financing and implementing nature projects.

  • Website – created especially for beneficiary of European Funds – containing all the necessary information about application process and accounting rules for projects implementation as well as developing networking opportunities for potential partners,
  • Consultancy –   how to plan the project and fill in the application form,
  • Expert support – consultations with specialists from various natural sciences in real time or by correspondence. Experts provide a pre-implementation audit of the project, which can help determine the legitimacy and correctness of the planned work. As part of the audit, analysis of aspects related to project management is conducted, including: human resources potential, adaptation of  existing beneficiary’s procedures to EU guidelines or readiness to carry out competitive contracts for services and supplies purchased during the project (conclusions and proposals for implementation, which will help to avoid potential infringements and financial corrections imposed by the institutions controlling the project in the future). Experts also deliver opinions on application for funding. Training and workshops  –  offer of participation in free training for those who are just planning to apply for European Funds and those who are already beneficiaries – trainings in various forms: stationary and online.  The main thematic areas of the training:
    • applying for EU funds
    • public and competitive procurement, 
    • EIA procedures
    • construction law
    • project settlement
    • sustainability and closure of projects
    • specific guidelines such as: accessibility for people with disabilities, promotion, GDPR
  • Study visits and exchange of best practices – way of learning from the bests – fields workshops and study visits to project sites that have already received EU support, meeting other beneficiaries of European Funds to take advantage of their experience and good practices in the implementation of nature projects.

Point for Nature provides services free of charge – all costs are covered by European Funds (the activity of the Point is financed from the Technical Assistance Programme for European Funds. The value of the project is 17.1 million PLN, the EU co-financing: 13 692 583,80 PLN.
